Itimist is all that you need for organizing your time and tasks in the simplest way so let’s consider its key features.

Overall design

We tried to make Itimist as simple as possible, so we believe anyone can understand how it works in several minutes after starts working with it. Also, we believe our users are smart, so they don’t need an explanation what + button means like this button is for adding …. However, some solutions should be explained for clarity.

First things first desktop and mobile versions of Itimist are completely equal that means you may use Itimist on any device without any restrictions. Therefore, some design solutions may be considered as arguable, but we believe it’s better not to develop different versions or restrict our mobile users.

Visually the site has 2 parts:

If possible we use modal windows since that helps to focus on what you want to achieve. So you will work with modal windows when create aor edit tasks, plan activities in Calendar, edit your profile etc.

Task management

Each week you plan your weekly tasks, so you may find them in Weekly tasks section. A task can have only one performer and this is a user of a task. A task may be either opened or resolved (closed). If a task is resolved then it should be checked either in Weekly tasks or in modal window when view/edit task. Weekly task is a task having date within current week. So once you change date a task may appear or disappear in Weekly tasks.

Time management

For time management we use Calendar. Just click on a cell in the calendar, choose planned task from the list of weekly tasks or input arbitrary time activity and set duration. Each activity (planned time) may be moved (drag&dropped) or deleted.
